VMZINC has just obtained Green Label certification (Singapore) for its preweathered products in the “ Eco-friendly product” category
This environmental certification aims to enable consumers to identify the most ecological products on the market and encourage manufacturers to design products that are more effective in terms of their environmental characteristics.
This Eco-friendly product “Green Label-Singapore” certification demonstrates that our preweathered rolled zinc products (QUARTZ-ZINC and ANTHRA-ZINC), for a given technical and functional performance, are differentiated by the significantly lower level of their environmental impacts according to an evaluation based on the principles of a Life Cycle Analysis.
Focus On Zinc n° 7 Special Issue
This special issue of the FOCUS ON ZINC magazine, which closes the 7th edition of the Archizinc Trophy competition, will be published in the coming weeks. The 12 winning projects reveal the many applications and reinterpretations of our material. Its high level of materiality is also highlighted, with envelopes in particular showcasing its unique texture. With almost 60,000 copies printed in French, English, Spanish and German, this magazine is distributed in over 30 countries. This is a means to recognise the work of the prize-winners and provide professionals with an endless source of inspiration.

Launch of Archizinc Campus 4
VMZINC is launching the 4th edition of its Sustainable Building competition for students in European architecture schools on the subject of “Sustainable Building”.
In the city and country of their choice, candidates will look for an existing building - mainly collective housing buildings – with a configuration that makes it possible to build an extension (roof extension and/or side extension), enabling the realistic addition of 30% extra space.
This building can be isolated or can be part of a group of buildings with similar types and purposes.
Candidates must give priority to an eco-design approach for the envelope.
The Jury of this 4th edition invites the students to think about the environmental characteristics of their project in terms of 4 issues: energy/materials/water management/biodiversity.
