VMZINC provides :
- A ”VMZ Mozaik 2D” file containing a library of CAD objects that can be used directly to create a facade layout grid in 2 dimensions.

- a ”VMZ Mozaik 3D” file containing a library of CAD objects with the 5 VMZINC aspects that can be used directly to create a layout grid in 3 dimensions and visualisation of a realistic rendering of the facades designed.

Tutorial :

  • 1) In AutoCAD, design the facade, dividing it into rectangles or squares corresponding to the format of the VMZ Mozaik modules selected. Refine the horizontal and vertical lines corresponding to the VMZ Mozaik horizontal and vertical joints.
  • 2) Position the 2D and 3D blocks on the facade in your CAD model. Duplicate the blocks to cover your entire facade.
  • 3) The “quick selection” function in AutoCAD makes it possible, after having completely clad the facade with these blocks, to count the number of times each cassette is used. This can then be reproduced in an Excel table thanks to the “attribute extraction” function.
  • 4) The file produced can then be exported to realistic rendering software.

Installation of rails and brackets is prepared by marking (laser or chalk line) and must correspond to the layout drawn up by the architect.

A frame in Omega or ”T” aluminium profiles is fixed vertically to the brackets.Special care will be given to the accuracy of alignment of the frame to make the facade perfectly flat

The length of the fixing brackets is determined by the thickness of the insulation. The depth of the frame ensures the minimum air gap required for ventilation of the wall.

The base flashing on the base trim is made up of 2 elements: A perforated VMZINC profile that ensures entry of the air space on which the first profile is fixed.
