The PRO-ZINC technical assistance team is made up of international roofers, who are experts in zinc applications. Each of them can thus contribute his own experience to his country. The objective of these roofers is to help the contractor by passing on their competencies.
Success story 1: Sofitel Hotel / Buenos Aires
Complete renovation of the roof of the latest Sofitel hotel in Buenos Aires.
The expert's report on the lead roof showed that a complete renovation was required. The lead was to be replaced by zinc from VM ZINC®. Assistance from PRO-ZINC International was essential for this ambitious project. A contract was negotiated. It included the delivery of our VM ZINC® small roofing coils and the list of tools, equipment and technical assistance. Before work began, meetings were organised for the different people working on the project. PRO-ZINC support services had a technician on site to reassure and teach and to assist the company in becoming technically autonomous. The renovation took over a year. When the work was finished the architect expressed his satisfaction.

Success story 2: Theatre on the Bay / Singapore
Roofing for 4 new buildings making up the new seafront opera house - Theatre on the Bay - in Singapore.
2 four day PRO-ZINC courses adapted to the Asian culture were set up at the PRO-ZINC training centre in Kuala Lumpur. The roofers who were to work on the project were selected. They could thus put into practice the know-how acquired during the course on special mock-ups. At the same time, the design assistance office in Bagnolet carried out a study at the request of the architect and a model identical to the roofing complex was made by PRO-ZINC so that certain details could be better visualised. The plans were submitted to and approved by the architect. The VM ZINC® products were delivered. A technical assistance contract was drawn up. Regularly, throughout the project, PRO-ZINC teams were on site thus guaranteeing the correct installation of the standing seam roofing. The client and the architect were satisfied.

Success story3: French Embassy / Lebanon
Construction of the French Embassy in Beirut.
The roof of this building is covered with VM ZINC®. The French architectural firm, Yves Lion, chose bilacquered, stone white zinc. The PRO-ZINC team set up a training course for the team employed for the installation and provided assistance on site. The design assistance office drew up specific details for the project which were approved by the architect. The Constructa company, in collaboration with Isotech, was assisted on the work site by a PRO-ZINC instructor. The project was successfully carried out. Interestingly, a day after the zinc was installed, a storm arrived from the desert, but it had no effect on the zinc.
