All our rolled zinc product range is guaranteed by conforming to the EN 988 standard (specifications for flat rolled zinc products for the building industry) which is an indispensable reference for quality. VM ZINC®, wishing to ensure that the quality of its rolled zinc would surpass the existing standard, has put in place the Premium Zinc quality label. This label has stricter requirements than the EN 988 for chemical composition, dimensions and mechanical resistance. Furthermore, tests have been introduced for Premium zinc, which guarantee that our transformer customers will find the zinc easier to transform.
Thus, when you see Premium Zinc marked on our coils, you will know you have the highest quality zinc currently available on the market.
